How to read the sources
Corporate records, archived web pages and news reports serve different purposes. A company record should be read according to its date and scope. An archived capture records what a page displayed at a particular time; it does not independently verify every statement on that page. News reporting should be distinguished from the underlying official record.
Read the source material separately from the conclusions drawn from it. Where reporting refers to allegations or a person’s identification as a suspect, that is not a finding of guilt.
